Regular Season Round 9: BC Nokia - TalTech 72-81

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twentieth ranked EstonianTalTech and 31th ranked Finnish BC Nokia had identical 4-3 record. This time TalTech beat the opponent Tallinn 81-72 on Friday night. Timofei Jermakov nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and forward Mark Poljakov (198-2009) accounted for 13 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Jonni Halme (183) came up with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Mico Salminen added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for BC Nokia in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for TalTech . They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with DSN and Marupes. Loser BC Nokia dropped to the sixteenth position with four games lost.
